
EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM
SKOP‘s Early Intervention Program is geared towards school aged children 4 years and up with special needs.
This program is offered on Saturday mornings from 10:30am to 1:30pm.
The Program focuses on the achievement of the following targeted skills:
- Self-help Skills: (Eating independently, getting dressed/undressed/ accessing the community with supports, etc.)
- Functional Play Skills: (Using toys and equipment as designed, etc.)
- Academic Learning: (Basic math, reading and writing, etc.)
Key Aspects of this Early Intervention Program Entails:
- Assessment of current challenges/barriers with solution focused plans to achieve successful outcomes for the child.
- Customized programming that meet the unique needs of your child.
- Quarterly Goal Setting and Feedback Sessions with parents (frequency will depend on the specific needs of the child).
- Videotaped sessions of your child and their interactions with staff for discussion during feedback session.
- After hours “Personalized Consultation” with parents.
