Since 2011, SKOP has been providing specialized care to over 100 children with special needs and their families living in the Durham Region. As a Client & Family Centered Child Care Facility, SKOP embraces the uniqueness of every child it serves, while fostering a warm, open and caring environment to assist children in developing beyond theirs’ and their parents’ expectations.
Parents’ Support
As part of its expertise, SKOP, Day Care Ajax offers a Parenting Workshop to its parents, extended families and the community at large. These Workshops runs twice a year, in the Spring and Summer.

SKOP celebrates its children, families and staff by facilitating its annual Summer BBQ.
Everyone, including family members are invited to relax and have fun with food, music, games, and activities for all ages. This is also a great way to network and talk about challenges and successes over the year.
